A new piece inspired by historical art works depicting textiles and the rich natural biodiversity, landscape, flora and fauna of my surroundings..
The Mariposa Handbag in Powder Blue is a one of a kind piece in the form of a rectangle when open and cinches at the neck when closed.
Handmade with hand pleated silk and natural dyes.
It has a structured layered interior with a silk lining. At the bottom corners dangle semi precious stones, antique Venetian glass beads and pearls.
Can be worn around the waist, at the wrist as a cocktail pouch with the straps tucked in, at the shoulder or cross body, by tying the ribbon strap to the desired length
A portable sculpture, just the right to fit a phone, lipstick and keys.
Care: Dry clean only
