Recycled cassette tapes purchased from neighbors in Santa Maria del Tule, Oaxaca during the COVID pandemic, containing music such as Vicente Fernandez and 1980’s Mexican Rock, hand-spun native Oaxacan cotton dyed with Oaxacan Indigo, and gold metallic thread, all and hand knit together in a twisted conical shape, celebrating texture and the joining of opposing forces.
