arlene guerra, jewlery designer, teen vogue favorite and stylist to the stars has begun yet a new project to exploit her talent for shopping and styling ladies: thrifty english queen she researches the runways finding the hottest newest looks, and then goes to vintage, thrift and antique stores looking for similar clothing as shown on the runways and pulls together a very similar looks from say Marc Jacobs spring ‘09 for a mere fraction of the price, and a bit more originality too boot! next week she is also launching an online store where you will be able to buy all of these fabulous vintage finds… xo c

I just recently returned from a vacation to Oaxaca city. I had been there once before many years ago, for only a few days and not until this trip did I fall utterly in love with the place and it’s people. What a colorful existence! Food and textiles, mezcal and music on every corner. 16th century buildings whose interiors are filled with modern design and creative graffiti.
